Mrs B complained about the length of time is it taking Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ā€œthe Health Boardā€) to investigate the complaint which she submitted 12 months ago.

The Ombudsman was concerned about the delay and contacted the Health Board who agreed to take the following action:

a) Provide a full response within four weeks
b) Apologise for the delay and provide an explanation
c) Pay Mrs B the sum of £100 for the inconvenience caused by the delay
